MEET THE ARTIST

Hi! I’m Madeline, the owner/artist at Artis Ink Bar, located in Middleton, Wisconsin.

I was born in Minnesota, but came to the Madison area for college. I met my husband Brett here over eight years ago, and we now live in Middleton with our three dogs.

As a graphic designer with a background in drawing, painting, and glassblowing, I love all things art. I have also been a beauty-enthusiast and makeup lover since my teenage years, and have a strong appreciation for subtle enhancements that make a big overall difference to the face.

I originally trained in the Chicago area with Katie Dang at Advance Microblading. Since then, I have taken many advanced courses with renowned artists (including Lexi Bowler at Bowler Esthetics, Supernatural Brows, Tina Davies, Shay Danielle, Lauren Taylor, Carla at Sculpted Studios, Kada Thomas at Mikaila Keana Cosmetic Tattoo, Caitlyn at Beauttega) to advance my skillset, & seen thousands of clients.

My knowledge of and passion for the industry combined with my creative background gives me a unique approach to permanent makeup that focuses on creating natural results that will look beautiful for years to come, not just in the “after photos.” I believe in a customized enhancement that fits each client’s unique needs, and won’t go out of style.
